Matthew 28:18-20
He told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and earth. Therefore go and make disciples in all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and then teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you; and be sure of this-----that I am with you always, even to the end of the world.”

Mark 6:35-37 Late in the afternoon his disciples came to him and said, “Tell the people to go away to the nearby villages and farms and buy themselves some food, for there is nothing to eat here in this desolate spot, and it is getting late.” But Jesus said, “YOU feed them”.

These two scriptures best describe what the LaSalle Ministry Alliance is striving to do here in the LaSalle Community. The LaSalle Ministry Alliance believes that Jesus Christ is Lord, and he died for the sins of all people. The passage from Matthew (The Great Commission), tells EVERYONE WHO IS A BELIEVER to go, ---whether it is next door or to another country---and make disciples. It is not an option, but a COMMAND to all who call Jesus “Lord”. We are not all evangelists, but we have all received gifts that we can use in helping to fulfill the this Great Commission. The passage from Mark (the feeding of the 5 thousand), tells us to FEED THE PEOPLE, not just feeding their physical needs but also their spiritual needs.

The LaSalle Ministry Alliance is four congregations working as ONE body of believers. Together we have accomplished greater things than each congregation could by working independently.

Four churches, working together since September 2006. We host concerts, barbecues, Movies in the Park, Light the Night, youth events and community service. The LMA operates the Caring & Sharing Program which provides food, financial assistance and counseling to people in the LaSalle area. From September 2006 through December 31st 2009 the Caring & Sharing Program has provided the equivalent of 1,358 meals and aided 127 families in the LaSalle area.
